You can't get an Amex Delta Gold SUB twice, right?

Recommended Posts

My gf just got an offer in the mail for a 60K signup bonus for an Amex Delta Gold card - she's had the card in the past (I think she got a 30K bonus then) so wouldn't be eligible, correct?

If not, why did they send her the offer - off a different marketing list or something?

Read the terms of the offer. It might be targeted.

I just opened an Amex Platinum Card and got 60,000 MRs, even though I had the card twice in the past and got bonuses both times.

Is there a way to tell if it's "targeted"? (FWIW the mailer appears to have been sent from Delta rather than Amex, and has her name and skymiles number and points her to delta.com/gold60k to apply.)

I've tried reading the terms, but there's so much verbiage in there along the lines of "if we determine you are not eligible...you are not eligible"

What you are looking for is the absence of a statement that you are ineligible if you have previously received the bonus.

As far as I can tell I don't think there's anything specifically about that on there - she's going to the number to apply and ask them to confirm.

You could also post a picture of the offer here to get feedback. It's hard to answer your question without all the facts.

I work for Delta and previously having the card and receiving the bonus miles does exclude you from receiving the incentives again.

However, according to people that commented above, you may accidentally get them again if approved.
