Paypal Smart Connect CL reduced from 35k to 1k

Recommended Posts

I think I must have let more than 12 months lapse without using it.

Logged in today and noticed my line was reduced from $35,000 to $1024

Right now I'm in the process of doing my pencil buying and then immediately paying off my sock-drawered cards. I do this every three or four months. That may be more often than needed, but it's not much effort to keep my cards active.

I called their underwriters. They bumped me to 25k but wanted me to send in docs to go back to 35k.

If you dont want to send docs, just try again later.

Do you still have a Synchrony card higher than $35K?

If it is on par with PP Credit, then just use their six-month no-interest offer to put a flight on from time to time...I'm not going to drag the few hundred bucks out for six months, but given the number of flights I have in the next month or so, it made sense to put one on there to show activity. Part of me would be tempted to put them ALL on there since PPC does not report, but I hate giving up the 5x points when I book through AXP Travel.
