It's common on ultrathin type especially the "laptab" things like my surface pro...I suspect it's to drive you to buy a replacement periodically..

Have never seen such a thing...on either count. Never seen fuzzy and never saw oily wrists.

 

Maybe switch to a different umm, oil, for those extra-curricular activities while the computer is open.

My pet peeve with laptops is the trend to make the right click left click indistinguishable from the general track-pad real estate. It's so easy to select something when you mean to right click or left click it.

 

Five minutes of actually trying it by a beta tester would have stopped this in it's tracks. Actually, 5 minutes of actual beta testing on everything would probably fix the world.

 

An example of this is just now, above, when I misspelled "probably" as "probebly" and it suggested "porcupine" and "parachute".

The laptop I currently use for work has the AC plug on the right side.

 

This is the wrong side for both of my home offices, since in both places I have to snake the power cord to the left to reach an electrical outlet in order to avoid having a visible cord running across the floor, which could also be a safety hazard. It mostly just looks tacky, though.
