I usually carry 3 CC's with me.

Cap 1 Venture (or my current SUB card)

Freedom Unlimited (High limit/Visa for emergencies)

Discover IT (If I need to do the non cash advance cash back at Walmart/etc for some reason, probably don't need to carry it)

Debit card (for paying Rent MO or need cash)

The rest are in a scrunchy in my "sock drawer" with other misc. cards, about two inches thick

I'll swap one in and out for particulars, or when I get a new SUB to work on. I have 8 on Apple Pay.

I like to keep my wallet pretty basic and simple.

I have a total of 11 cards but only carry 3. 2 definitely are my Amex EDP and my Amex Platinum. My 3rd card usually rotates between noon amex cards. Currently it is a Citi AA card while I am trying to hit my retention bonus.

I only carry my Costco Visa - that I pretty much only use at Costco and any restaurant I might visit, my Amex Blue Cash Preferred - which I use at grocery stores, and my citi DC that I use everywhere else.

For certain online purchases I might use my UPromise MC, or the NFCU (both through their portals for 5-10% cash back, depending on the offer) - but no need to carry those in my wallet.

The rest just get used twice a year for Amazon gift cards.

Amex PRG

Amec BCP

BOA Travel...we get the platinum benefits and we use it for places that don't take amex

Any card I am trying to get the SUB

I do not sock drawer as I have an old plastic file folder system with the cards listed alphabetically in the folders. That way I can find them easily when I need to hit amazon for the $1 gift card.

CV wont want to hear this but the Arrival plus also gets some pretty heavy use from my daughter.

DW carries pretty much the same as for as non store cards but she carries MANY Many store cards she uses for discounts and in store perks. Then again her wallet is about the size of a novel and her purse is about the size of North Africa.

My wallet...not so much

I have six cards, carry one. I'll likely reduce to two at some point then carry those two plus my credit union debit card.

more than 40; only 5 or 6 on me at a time; usually JPMR, Amex Plat, Alliant 2.5%, ICBC UP, and Citi Prestige

Over 20 overall, but 4-6 on me at any given time.

Usual suspects:

Amex Platinum

Amex BCP

C$R

Chase Freedom Unlimited

PenFed (5% cb gas only)

F5 if using that category at point of sale

Rotate any in as needed.

12, primaries are Amex (BPC), Citi (Costco), Chase (Amazon), and PayPal MC.

Open to recommendations. Considerations:

Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve - travel

Ritz

Alliant
