Hey. We have a Walmart super store and it's closer than the next big box store Costco.

 

Generally shop at Costco except when I start to want Spam. Walmart has the largest Spam collection around w/o going to Asian specialty stores. It's odd really. There's some but not a lot of Asians or Hawaiian transplants around here. Not sure where I picked up liking Spam. Had a gf once in college that was a Hawaiian mutt. A mix of Scottish, German with a touch of Chinese and Native Islander. Damn she was pretty. Then she left to study at the Sorbonne and that was the end of that.

You don't use much in an omelet, 1 can chopped up is good for about 12 omelets. You don't want to obliterate the poor eggs.

Sodium has gotten a bad rap. For most it's not an issue and they get rid of it as fast as it comes in. For a few, it's significant and can cause high blood pressure amongst other things. Know your metabolism.

 

All that salt is one of the reasons a can of Spam will probably keep on your shelf longer than a dog lives.
