Squad2530 Posted March 27, 2018 Hello, Long story short I have several late mortgage payments from over a year and a half ago on my credit. I had a loan mod done and the past 2 years of payments are on time. I contacted the credit bureau to see about having the late payments removed and they told me to contact the loan holder. I contacted the loan holder and was told to fax some things to their research department which I did. I called today to check the status and the woman says (and verified with somebody else) they dont do good will adjustments or any adjustments because what they reported is accurate. How do I have this removed from my credit?? This is THE only bad thing I have on there. Im looking to lease a car and my scores are EX: 669 TU: 678 EQ: 665 Thats with the Auto Loan tab clicked on FICO website.

tiggerlgh Posted March 27, 2018 When was the loan mod completed? Are the lates reporting during the trial period? If so you were late as you weren’t paying the contractual amount. Are the lates accurate? If so I don’t see them being removed. But we need more details to help you.
