I've had enough! It's going to warm up for a couple of days and then it's going to get cold again. I know, Konrad is going to post something to make me feel worse.

I dealt with snow for two consecutive weekends.

 

I'm back in San Diego, where it will be 70 during the day until I leave next week.

 

This is convertible weather, once the engine warms up and the heater starts working.

Its 0730, already sunny although a little chilly here on the Southern California coast. Should get to 74 today.

 

Unfortunately it's still cold at night. Not East Coast cold but in the 40's. But that ensures my cement tilt-up warehouse/office building will stay like a meat locker all day.

We're going to have one or two days in the 70's them whammo, back to 40's and 50's. I could borrow a few 70's days.

Without rain, a decent heater makes ALL days convertible weather, especially with a tonneau. I remember driving up to Illinois about 15 years ago...was 80'ish when I left Texas. Was about 35 when I got to Illinois. Inside the Miata, I was nice and toasty...got quite the shock when I stopped and my shorts-wearing self got out of the car.

After almost four years I finally convinced TAD that we don't need the swing set / slide thingie left behind by the previous owners, and as far as I'm concerned we can't disassemble it fast enough.

 

I hate how it looks, and it attracts neighborhood brats from time to time.

For childless people, a swing set in the backyard shouts "windowless van parked outside an elementary school". Just add a bucket of candy to complete the scene.
