Good morning,

Please forgive me in advance as I'm a newbie ;)

I'm taking baby steps in repairing my credit in hopes to purchase my first home.

I've only received my FAKO scores from CK and they are the following

TU: 579

Equifax: 569

My bank shows a Fico 2 score of 549 as of 2/12.

I have a C1 - no late payments in past 12 months credit limit of $600

#2 C1 - no late payments in past 12 months credit limit of $740.

My problem is my Santander car loan...I fell on hard times and have had 4 late payments in 2017. I'm caught up but owe $350 in "fees". Do you think if I agree to pay these additional "fees" and ask that they remove my late payments?

Anyone has experience with them?

I'm really trying to get a home loan by May of this year.

Thank you!

I am pretty sure Santander is owned and run by Satan and his minions.

I can guarantee you that they will not change those late payments under any circumstance short of a court order. Any phone call or letter you send will be met with silence on the matter.

Thank you for the feedback.

I guess I sold my soul to the devil with that loan. One of the perils of having crappy credit is all the slime comes out of the woodwork.

That's why I love this board, to get my credit back on track so I don't have to deal with companies like this anymore.

Life is definitely better on the other side. :)
