HELOC with Chase is conditionally approved (pending appraisal and clean title report) at prime minus 0.375% - with autopay (0.125% rate discount) and an initial $30,000 draw (0.25% rate discount) that we are repaying the same day we receive the funds.

$50 application fee and $50 annual fee (waived the first year).  No other origination costs, and no early termination fee for closing the line early.

I have similar mixed emotions when I pop a blister.

LOL.... I should be grateful that they give me anything considering that I burned them in BK.

Guess I'll keep hitting it every 6 months and maybe in 5 years I'll have a respectable limit with them.

I've been absent....

$1500 Disco CLI
$20k NFCU Flagship 50k bonus (already had $24k card and $15k LOC)
$17k WF Propel 30k bonus (completely missed the phone/walk-in 40k offer)

Total limits approaching $800k.

God bless you breeze...I love ya. So sad to hear the news. This is a very special place for so many of us.

4 days in, the Chase phone application status line message says "the status of your application is not yet available", but I got an email from Hyatt saying "Congratulations - You're Now a Discoverist".  So it's looking good.

Would be the first new account in 6 months and 4 days.

World of Hyatt Visa - IGCL $7,500

Pulled Experian (763 after the pull)

Do you have any other Wells Fargo cards or bank accounts?

Yes, a Platinum at $13k for total exposure of $30k. That card is over a year old and I haven't really applied for anything in a while prior to this approval.

No bank accts....

Thanks Nate. Congrats on reaching $800K. Hope you’re not in the path of Florence or floods in VA.
Well, almost $800k...ha, need to push a few cards but I've been lazy lately.

Thank you. We were originally looking like ground zero for inland flooding before the shift in track. Feel bad for our neighbors to the south though. We stocked up on supplies anticipating the worst. As soon as they start loading up trucks here, we'll donate things for the people that'll really need it. Carolinas are going to get hammered.

Time to hit the CLI buttons on the usual cards from Amex, BofA, Citi, and Discover. :-)
I am at $300K and don’t feel like applying anymore. Does economics laws of diminishing returns apply to credit?

I wonder if Carolinas are ready for a CAT 4.

I usually check dates since last CLI and hit the button when paying bills, etc.

Congrats on $300k.....I'd say the further you go it's just the effort you put into it.  BofA was easy to get to $55k but I haven't tried to push further.  Amex overall is higher, Chase is higher, Disco still hates me and Citi just requires too much effort so I take their little bumps when given.  DW and I hit all the bonuses that made sense for us over the last 2 years and the end result has been keeping some cards active and closing/combining where possible.  We let a few TD Bank cards go from non-use but they were low limits and never grew.  I've definitely learned a lot and owe it all to CBDW is furthering her education this year so we've relied heavily on my income.  As it happens, my truck blew up, the AC blew up and our roof is leaking in a 10 year old house.  It's been nice to have resources to deal with things and not get stressed out.

I worry so many in the Carolinas were unprepared due to the crazy shift in the storm....she's proven over and over again she's going wherever the hell she wants.  Hopefully everyone along the coasts heeded the warnings and get the heck out.

Is there a link to phone/walk-in offer?

I just went to look where I saw 40k and forgive me, it was for the Propel World that has an AF (waived year 1).  More info here if interested...
