I've never got Grainger before even after some established credit (A few net 30 tradelines reporting on D&B and/or Experian). What are the requirements or what channel do you apply from to get approved for Grainger?

NewEgg Net 55 was always a decline for me but just applied for the Net30. Anyone know where they pull from?

Received approval email. 5k @ net30

The app asks for D&B number so may pull from there. Have about 10 trades reporting there with highest being 2.5k

Gemplers reports to Cortera. Question. Who does Seton, Grainger, MSC Industrial, US Plastic report to? I have 10 vendors I have been purchasing from: Uline, Quill, Seton, US Plastic, Grainger, Gemplers, Stratetic Network Solutions, Monopolize My Marketplace, MSC Industrial, Universal Premium Fuel Mastercard(Fuelman). I only have 4 reporting on D&B and 1 reporting on Business Experian from the free NAV account I have. From the report on D&B reports are as follows: Misc. business service, Whol service paper, Whol industrial supply, Lithographic printing. From my list can you gather which companies are reporting to D&B? Any response is apprciated.

Quill gave me instant net 30 approval, I also have Uline, Fed Ex Printing, Grainger, and National Pen Company (which not sure if they report), and Quosmedix (I'm in the beauty industry). Just ordered something from Seton so we'll see. Also it looks like my Cap One Spark card is reporting on Experian. Does Verizon report to anyone? Also to maintain good business credit, which I'm still learning about this from these boards, how often do you place orders from vendors and is their an average amount? Also I have one listed on D&B as a cash account, does that mean I paid the invoice too fast? Thanks for all of this great knowledge!

Here are a few net 30 creditors that are moderately easy to get.

I'm not sure as to who they report to.

Auto Zone , Car Quest Napa, First Call, Parts Plus, Napa and Sears are all net 30 but Advance for some reason is a net 14 day

In the past I applied for an Advance Auto Parts Professional account, was approved for $10k No PG, and Net 30. Must have paydex which means you must have at least 3 trades reporting to DnB.

To answer the last persons post, yes Verizon reports .

In my experience of analyzing corporate credit reports it's been noted that day only negative items were reported by Verizon to DnB and or Experian Business.

The good thing is I know for sure they pull DnB and or Experian Business as do all cell phone companies.

AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. They all pull DnB.

Their requirements are slim to none.

Pretty much need to be a breathing company. Number is and you have a EIM number you can get 20 lines approved with each of those companies.

Sprint, and Verizon no deposit and bill all devises to the account.

AT&T will want you to pay for the taxes on each device. Example iPhone cost $998 you will pay the taxes on that but they will finance the phones for up to 20 phones/lines on a basic company.

They will not fault you for being a new start.

This is major information to a new start company meeting iPhones, iPads, Samsung products for their business use. Easy financing for upstart companies as long as they're comping has the basics.

Basics such as business phone listed with 411 directory assistance, website EIM number. 411 directory assistance, website E I N number

All 4 will require:

EIN LETTER from the IRS

Some form of documents they might ask for if you are very new and they can't google you anywhere to prove your corporate address. Documents such as bank statement, utility bill, articles of incorporation etc.

Believe me the phone companies are extra greedy they don't ask for much.

Like I said earlier, just appear to be a real breathing company. Pass the basics.

One last thought on the last persons posted question on the cash transactions reported to DnB.

That is a good thing not a bad thing. DnB still considers that a trade experience. Two more of those and they will give you a 80 paydex. You need 4 trade experiences not just 4 trade lines reported to get a Paydex score. That cash transaction is considered a trade experience and or a trade line.

I created a company back in 2012 at my home address. This business dissolved back in 2014. This year I am trying to start a new business and I tried to get a Duns number and they told me they match my name with my address and therefore the old business is the new business and my business already has a Duns number and they weren't going to give me one.

My question is, can they do this?

I already logged into the old update account for dnb and tried to change all the information including the business name but it says it may take 21 days. There are also 2 negative tradelines on that account that I disputed. This all seems really odd and discourages entrepreneurs from trying again after a business fails. Any helpful advice?

I would imagine the only sure way is a new LLC at a new address, which by its nature is a separate entity completely

But yes, D&B , and Experian seem to have a holier than thou attitude, and employ staff that lack any manners or people skills whatsoever......

They wouldn't last 30 seconds in London, manners cost nothing !

I have had the best results by pointing out to them that misrepresentation is illegal, and it doesn't hurt to mention the massive fine they had not so long ago !

unfortunately, we need them, which is even more vexing

I don't know what it is lately but everybody from Starbucks to Phone companies are all having a "I can't be fired, I can say and do anything" attitude here in the U.S. I don't know if they don't really care if they're fired or they're told by their peers that the company doesn't care. I tend to think they're just unhappy with their lives on the inside and need to take it out somehow.

I hear you about the address thing but it's just not possible to move everytime a home business fails. Every successful person has suffered many failures before the success, so why is it so looked down upon when they find out you had another company years ago? It's like they think you're trying to pull a scam or something. Just do your job and give me a number.

I can confirm that this info is false. I've started a new business, have my business listed on the SOS website, yellowpages, etc. I went in to see if they'd grant a line in my business name and they outright denied me at Verizon. Called ATT they wanted a thousand dollar deposit.
