Black op - a super secret CIA operation. This is all tongue in cheek. I mean I don't really put my tongue in my cheek, that's figurative. Not as in an actual figure, but you know, a figure of speech. Oh never mind.

The first rule of conspiracy club...don't try to explain conspiracy club

Crazy people are a dime a dozen. Crazy people that can plan over a long period of time w/o leaving signs all over the place are rarer.

What I find strangest is that he emailed an old apartment manager and friend that used to work for him inquiring about her safety after the Fla. hurricane. Seemed to be a completely normal, empathically human, kind of interaction. Then, not many weeks later he executed his long plan.

Just weird as hell.

One of the warrants mentioned that they believe others were involved, and they found he had several phones. I forget which documents I read. I was just curious what was in them. Nothing I can do one way or the other, but it would be satisfying to find out some things. The whole thing is just crazy from start to finish.

This is the inherent problem, trying to apply rational thought to crazy behavior.

Here is how I see it:

1 - He was in a downward gambling spiral as he had recently lost a ton of money

2 - He was very narcissistic person and would rather die than lose his perceived status as a high-roller

3 - His father was a criminal and as they say the apple doesn't fall far

4 - Put it all together he had nothing to lose (in his mind) and wanted to be remembered, and had the genetic tendency to do something bad

Maybe something will come out that is a more definitive answer, but again I think this was a mentally ill person doing an act that can only be conceived by someone mentally ill.

Las Vegas doctor faces discipline over Oct. 1 gunman’s medical records

Good.  He should be sanctioned.  It was an improper accessing of records related to someone that was not a patient of his.  Dilweeds like him are a big part of the very reason people don't want consolidated medical databases...and his proves them right, not once but SEVERAL times.

Doctors also shouldn't be allowed to invoke the 5th.

It doesn't but it should.  Those who have a greater trust put in them by the law and the public should be held to a different standard when they abuse that trust.

Obviously just my opinion.
