NFCU Mobile Deposit

Recommended Posts

I seem to be continually having to redeposit checks with NFCU. The app will accept the check, then I get an email telling me to redeposit it. I never have this problem with PNC. This is getting annoying. Anyone else having these issues? Or is it my cheap camera on my Moto G?

I haven't used the Enneffseeyou app. I'm surprised that the check is initally accepted.

I have problems with the Wells Fargo app when one molecule of ink from the person's signature touches or crosses any of the numbers printed in magnetic ink along the bottom of the check. The app will not accept the check at all, and then I have to deposit it into another account.

Is the rejection because of technical issue or because you don't endorse it exactly as they want you to,? Like "For e-deposit only at NFCU"

It has always worked for me on an old note 4 phone and new s8. No holds but largest check deposited there was $1500. The only time there was an issue is when the internet connection was bad and like OP it said accepted then it told me to redeposit, Then NCFU charged me a few for a duplicate check which they later waived as a courtesy.

It's usually something like "too dark in the corner" or "couldn't make out this or that".

And not sweating it - it's a $7 class action check from those Almond Milk makers who somehow ran afoul of class action lawyers. Since I had receipts, I jumped on the bandwagon.

The third time, I finally got the acceptance email from NFCU.

Three must be their magic number. That's how many times I had to submit my membership application and supporting documentation before someone was able to find it and process it.

I think it's bad lighting; my hands and the phone seem to create shadows over part of the check. PNC could care less and NFCU seems to be more concerned. That's just the way it is, I guess.

I did notice that there seems to be a green aura surrounding the check picture - and noticed for the first time in tiny letters that I should move the camera closer to the check, etc. So, I guess it's more USER error than anything else.
