Pay for Delete

Recommended Posts

A lot of this depends on what type of creditor the original creditor is and how old the debt is.

Usually, banks won't go for offers to settle. Pretty much never go for pay for deletes.

Lowball them at 50% in exchange for a paid in full notation, but if they insist on the full amount just pay it and put this behind you. $1,600 is only eight decent toasters.

Did u get letter from them agreeing to delete it if u pay in full? U have sooo much more leverage if u hold off until you get the letter, because they can always go back on their word. I had library fees $65 which i got a pay to delete and had it removed within a week
