Multiple emails from Citi trying to twist my arm into their loan products and from Chase trying to get me to take an overpriced balance transfer.  Unless it is 0% with no fee, I have no need for it since, to be honest, I have nothing to transfer...

Same here.

Since we're still leveraged with a HELOC that now has an rate of 6.75%, the 3% bt offers (typical effective APR of 4%-6%) are still attractive to us and I am tapping them selectively.

btw, is there actual "twisting" involved? ... or just an attempt to seductively entice you into a "honey trap"?  🤣

FNBO telling me it’s been more than 30 days since I last used my card. Use it just once to keep it active. It used to be, I’d get these reminders every 90 days. Now it’s 60 days or less.

It’s card I got back in 2015 when I was rebuilding. It earns some type of points scheme. But nothing worth fooling with.

Pencil purchases seem to keep them happy.

My Amtrak cards that are now under their control won’t be producing these lack of usage emails. I run spend through those.

Amex auto CLI of $1500 on Bonvoy.  Was stuck at $5400 when I had high utilization/large balances.  All CC debt has been paid off for over two and a half years.  I got 4506-T after a few months of zero utilization when I went for the "triple CLI request" and never sent it shortly after being CC debt free.  I guess I'll take it.  The increase is just about the amount of travel expenses I put on the card last week after being WFH for so very long.  Was actually just thinking about poking the bear and see if I am bucketed into forever 4506-T, but I'll just let it sleep for now, especially given the auto CLI.  Seems they like spend.

Another auto CLI after putting travel expenses on this card -- this time $3000 CLI after $2700 spend.  That helps keep me under 30% utilization.  Guess I'll let the balance ride until statement cuts and PIF when expenses reimbursed.

Regular email email from FNBO telling me, I haven't used my 2015 rebuilder card in a couple of months. I'll get some Chicklets on my way to work in the morning.

Amtrak reaching out, asking permission, to use a train pic I took, in one of their social media posts.

Email from Amex telling me about all the great benefits of my BB+ card. Such as 2x/$ for the first $50k each year. Vendor Pay by Bill dot com, add cards for employees with spending controls.

Sh&t that I was already aware of BEFORE I applied for the card.

This has to be the most incomprehensible, really pathetic phishing email I've ever seen. Must have flunked out of phish school.

The payment request was successfully handled by us. The figure has been successfully reused, and in the next two business days, it will appear in your summary as "Norton-upgradation figure."

Concerning tab, we would invite any help. Then again, you can withdraw by calling +1 805 317 6096

I like the one I get occasionally that says, "Regarding Your Recent Car Accident". What car accident? 🤔 😜

Yeah. getting them too. $500 for a Chase "friend" CC referral. I don't recall seeing them that high before. Looks like Chase is pretty optimistic about the economy. Good.

Chase hasn’t fully abandoned their 5/24. However I’ve seen plenty of evidence on travel blogs, that they have loosened up a bit in that last year or so. I see more crying these days on travel blogs about Crap1 Venture X denials, than I see with Chase products.
