That COULD result in rebucketing...there have been discussions through the year that a retail card helped with the mix...

Well let's see what happens. I don't actually pay for MyFico so they don't give me scores (despite sending alerts that say a "new score is available")

Auto CLI on Chase Amazon Visa.  15,000 -> 21,500

Perhaps that is my cue to downgrade the CSP and get another sign up bonus.  I have had it 4.5 years.

Is this your first auto CLI with Chase Amazon?

There was a round of auto CLIs abut 1/2 year ago. Could this be a second round?

Yet another warning from my credit union about their upcoming online banking fiasco

Bill Pay – you will be unable to set up new payments within Bill Pay starting Thursday, 3/3/2022 at 4:00PM (ET). Previously set up bill payments will continue to process as scheduled.  This feature will be available again starting Monday, 3/7/2022.

  • Members who have the same biller set up in their account multiple times will have them all deleted, except for the most recently paid.

I just love those huge print shirts and dresses with the unmatched pattern seams and cheap shinny snaps and buttons...NOT!!

An email telling me that my FNBO app was approved... but not the limit :P

It has been a long time since my Mlife card app...but the status link MIGHT have that information.

Have they improved their processing timelines?  They used to give just about everyone the ten-day notice that with so many other lenders meant NO, but with FNBO, it meant they were passing it around the office.  And then about a week t week and a half later, you got your notice on an approval...

The app was done on Tuesday with the 10 day notice, and the email came yesterday. The link required an account number, which I don't have yet, so I guess I'll have to wait. I'm just happy it was an approval, as this was my first experience with FNBO, so I didn't realize that the 10-day notice wasn't necessarily a denial like so many other banks :D

They used to have a status check for apps that needed ZIP, phone and (I think) last four of social...maybe that went away through some of the design changes.

Found that link... approved for a whopping 1k line. At least I'm making a new banking relationship.  Are they known to grow?

Yes and no.  Pre-pandemic, I would see an automatic 10% line increase at roughly the anniversary of the account.  I never asked for a CLI otherwise, so I don't know their practice tendencies.  Since 2020, they have not done the auto-CLI, but I don't know if that is pandemic-related or my lack of use...I pretty much stopped staying or playing at MGM properties because their comps sucked for me.  Circa treats me a lot nicer AND I like properties where the owner is actually going to engage with the customers on the floor...they just don't have a credit card yet LOL!

The Mlife card typically spits out BT offers every month or two, but they leave something to be desired due to the fee (3% with a cap) and sub-optimal APR (usually 4-5% for life of the BT).

Some attractive propositions keep me rooted to the MGM properties in MS.  So, my MGM play in LV has been for the sake of tier point earning (which is a lot faster than outside LV).

Here you about MGM LV comps ... I'd pretty much given up on appreciable host discretionary comps, over the years, cycling through MGM, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio and MGM Park/Nomad (where a modest comp offering was extended with some hostility ... "don't call me; I won't be calling you" ;).

This changed up in the last year when I couldn't get a last minute booking (travel change) at Nomad and decided to give Aria a shot.  It's the most damned hospitable MGM casino I've ever encountered.  Clientele tends to be on the touristy/low roller side, so I guess a moderate stakes player gets a little more attention.  What ever the case, I've been coming away with a respectable write off of my charges each trip  and I'm hooked.  (We're checking in for 4 nights next week Wednesday, followed by 3 nights at Caesars).

Email today from Barclay's stating that as of April 21, 2022 my NFL card payments must be made through Commenity Bank because Commenity Bank is taking over the card. I quickly changed the life insurance debit information to Discover. I am not happy about this. I have read horrible things about paying bills to Commenity.

The NFL Barclaycard is my oldest account. Now I would like to close this account but maybe I shouldn't due to it was my oldest account. Advice?

I have had zero problems with Comenity payments when I push the money from my bank to them. Making payments on the Comenity site itself, I have no experience with.

I received the following 16 times today, 16 times yesterday:

Yesterday I requested two redemptions of $100 each from my YouGov political survey account points.

FWIW, these points were earned from 300+ surveys taken over god knows how many years (10?), likely entailing 50+ hours of survey responses.
