I think just a good washing should suffice.

Which brings me to a totally unrelated question....
Why don't hotels use hand held shower heads???

It makes it so much easier to clean "down there" (well...rinse off after you have soaped up)

When I was a kid I found this old book from the 1800's full of fascinating stuff. Oriented towards children it had bits ranging from Gulliver's travels to how to make a weird concoction with camphor, KNO3, and some other stuff presumably to predict the weather. One of the articles suggested that one should bathe at least once a week on Saturday and, if possible another day midweek. However, it cautioned about bathing more often than that saying it was unhealthy.

Seemed plenty often enough for me as a 10 y/o boy, and showed it to my parents. They were not impressed.

I saw something on Facebook yesterday about why women should wash their hair at least once a week.

I almost barfed.

There's a crazy set of folks that insist washing your hair at all is bad because it strips out natural oils. At the most they will only rinse it with water and infrequently at that. Yuck.

There was also some discussion about how water dehydrates hair. Coupled with my gagging, I decided to move on at that point.

These people must do all their shopping at natural food stores. Thinking everything in there cures everything from cancer to ball stickage. Also I bet everything is a aleragin to them too.
