Avocados are yummy

I eat them with some sea salt and a spoon, right out of the skin. My favorite snack!
No lime?

Sometimes, if I have a lime on hand. I've done soy sauce, and a few other combinations when I'm feeling like it. And if I have some chips on hand, I will whip up some guac. But honestly, salt is all I really need to eat an avocado.

A weird combination that my mother taught me: Half an avocado, a big scoop of cottage cheese where the seed was, then Russian or Catalina salad dressing over the top. I'm not crazy for any of the ingredients, but the three meld together into an amazing flavor. Truly the whole is greater then the sum of its parts sort of thing.

I tend to use a lot more salt without lime.

My guac consists of avocados, tomato meat (all wet stuff removed), minced onion (I love onions but they're too overpowering in guac), and salt... nothing else. Mashed with a potato masher and refrigerated overnight.

And GARLIC powder!!! I can't believe I left that out :swoon:

Jeez. Do I have to teach you everything?

Dice the onions and then soak them in warm temperature water for 5 minutes.

You gotta have a little lime juice.

Don't be afraid to add a small amount of ground cumin. (1/2 tsp)

You're welcome
