Transferwise Borderless Account

I found this mentioned on another website. Transferwise is a service that offers cheap electronic transfers between accounts in different countries. They're based in the UK. I've used them for transfers. They now offer sub-accounts that give customers actual UK bank account numbers and sort codes (for British pounds) and IBAN numbers for euros (they use a German bank for this). I created both of these accounts within my Transferwise account and added a small balance to each (a really small balance).

 

While not full checking accounts they do offer the ability to receive and send payments. I doubt they use Chex or run a credit check, but they do require you to upload your ID.

Thanks for the post. Always research a service for sending funds. Review the security requirements and any limitations.
