Call this #877-284-7942 after midnight if you don't like talking to people

I feel like I am in the twilight zone! I started the $1 trial of CCT on Feb 4th. When I login & select my account 7 then Payment info I'm scheduled to be charged $29.95 on Feb 14. It says to cancel I should call 1-866-506-7894.

Im asked to enter my SSN and Zip code & when I select the option for canceling the account - I'm told I have a free account so there is nothing to cancel & im hung up on.

Same with 877-284-7942

:cry2:

Did you call before they were open?

I just called the 866-506-7894 number and it worked fine for me. Wait time greater than 15 minutes. Try it now. If you wait until later, your hold time will likely be greater than 1 hour.

I selected the billing option instead of the cancelling option & now I am on hold. Thank you

Hm. Mine is due to bill me tomorrow, so I called today at about 10:00 Eastern. I was given the automated cancel option, which I selected. But I wasn't given any 50% offer, I was told I'd successfully downgraded to the free plan. I'm still able to log on and as far as I can tell nothing looks different at all?

Wasn't on hold at all. Took 5 mins tops.

Sorry! I called 866-506-7894. I found that on CCT website under settings -> payment information. When I called it thanked me for calling Experian, which confused me, but I just assumed Experian is the place that owns CCT? Which in kind confused me further because I also have the Experian app, and I have no idea if I cancelled CCT or Experian's monthly service and was I getting ready to pay twice for the same service? Ugh.

I was able to cancel through the automated system ~5 minutes ago (877-284-7942). I hope it's not a glitch :D

hopefully not I had to speak to a Rep last week when I canceled. That's the same number I called.

The last time I signed up was in February. At that time, the email correspondence was from creditchecktotal. The email cancellation confirmation today was from Experian.

UPDATE/WARNING

Long story short, I noticed a $29.xx charge on my CC today from EX/CCT. After going through 5 or 6 prompts/callbacks to get a live person (the dispute dept.) I explained what happened with the emails/cancellation/CC charge and was transferred to CS (after I got a good ph.#). I explained everything AGAIN and the CS wench tried to tell me the $29.xx was non-refundable. After some back and forth for 10 more minutes she finally agreed to remove the charge as a courtesy (for their screwup/glitch). Needless to say, I won't be signing up for any more trials.

Reminder... I called the # from the CCT website to cancel.

ETA - The extra quotes above weren't captured in my post. See above.
