Do you re-register with a new username or how does that work?

No. Use the same info.

Just sign-in as usual.

Can you still get the trial dollar offer?

But can you get the dollar trial again that way?

Has anyone recently been offered the 50% off discount on their cancellation call? I was not offered the discount the last 2 times.

Idk, I never talk to a representative.

IIRC... The Robot offered me the discount. I always say no.

Interesting. I know Experian owns CCT. The number Kat posted is actually not a CCT number but the number to cancel Experian's direct credit report offerings. The number to cancel on CCT's website is 866-506-7894 and this is the number I have been using.

So moral of the story is do not use CCT's number. Use Experian's number, 877-284-7942, to cancel if you want the automation cancellation and offer for 50% discount.

Exactly how it worked for me, just cancelled, did not have to speak with human, and was offered 50% discount.

Doesn't work for me, I get an "Our office is currently closed, please call back during our regular business hours *disconnect* " message. -_-

CCT is NO longer offering any kind of discount....

The Equifax data breach has simply been to good for business!

wireless routers always have an hour wait when you call them as well.

When you cancel does your old scores and info stay in the system so you can keep track?

Yes....

When you login again, CCT will tell you that you are eligible for another $1 trial, so you have this option or to simply login and review your historical info.

I just tried all 3 numbers listed in this thread. And got the exact same "Thank you our office is currently closed. Please call again during regular business hours" for each number. Exact same message for all 3 and no automated way to cancel.

I canceled last week.

Automated message said due to higher than normal call volume... (which I didnt believe) ...your wait time will be in excess of 60 minutes. (Which I did believe).

So I hung up.

Tried the next morning when I had an hour of office work to do. Give me to 30 minute wait estimate. I waited. After a mere 18 minutes 30 seconds I they picked up and I cancelled.
