My goal is to get 500k plus in revolving personal credit & 500k in revolving biz credit lines. I will use this thread to update my progress and add my results. Currently my scores are in the 730-740 range. No debt with AAOA being 3 years and 30+ inquiries. I would like the best sign on bonuses along the way. I don't care if cash back or points or miles. Just best sign on with largest limit potential. I am trying to figure out where to apply next and for what product. For some reason Chase doesn't like me on the personal side. I have had the Slate for 2 years and they won't give me CLI or another card. my income is about 250k per year. Thank you to this board for all your help so far. Any suggestions are welcome.

You have *30* inquiries and a AAOA of 3 years!? What... the... H.... have you been apping for!? I mean which cards!? Because with 30 Inq. in the past 24 months and a AAOA of 3 years that likely means that at least 20-25 of those inquires were for nothing / resulted in no new grant of credit. Am I right!?

Look... most of the credit cards *you* have (I agree with Kat: AU doesn't count) give *soft* CLI: CapOne, AmEx, Sync, Discover... meaning that you burned those 30 inq. on $1000 and $2000 credit lines or being declined.

If you're AU on AmEx and have a business card on AmEx... why don't you have a personal AmEx? AmEx alone should get you to $30k CL w/in one year. Chase? In a year and a half my Chase approvals are for $24,000, $22,000, $19,000... BOA? Mine in 2 years is up to $21,000

I'm only about 2 years into cleaning up horrible reports, likewise have 740ish FICOs *but with and AAOA of less than 1 year* and I've got just under $300k of personal revolving credit.

Something else is going on underneath those numbers you posted.

I own 5 businesses so many of my credit inquiries are due to merchants and opening business accounts and such. Many of the inquiries are over a year old. Only have like 5-10 in the last year. AU will not count towards goal. My goal to 500k in 2 years. April 20, 2019

i have been turned down several times on many inquiries due to not enough credit history. Before about 3 years ago I always paid cash for everything. Think Dave Ramsay. So I get turned out because of too many new accounts.

Best to stress quality/utility over quantity.

Eventually I would like to have 50k plus with at least 15 different financial institutions. I am thinking 1.B of A 2. Chase 3. Amex 4. Citi 5. Cap One 6. Barclays 7. Synchrony 8. Regions 9. PNC 10. NFCU 11. Penfed 12. Alliant 13. Citizens 14. TD Bank 15. RBC

You're an AU on a personal AMEX with a 740ish score and they aren't bombarding you with mail? You have an AMEX Biz Plat and have updated your AMEX profile and they aren't bombarding you with biz card offers?

i am getting bombarding with Amex offers. Not sure which ones to go after. I heard you only get 1 sign on bonus. I received amex gold offer today for Biz

I went to that main site and opted in about a month ago so maybe it just hasn't gone thru yet. I didn't know if there are other things I should do. I don't wanna get spammed for everything. Only credit card offers. Any advice would be appreciated

Also plum card as well. I am gunshy because I don't want to waste inquiries. I applied for Amex EDP about 2 months ago and was turned down with a 737 experian. Reasoning inquiries. Too many new accounts. Not enough history.

Do you use the Pay Over Time feature of your Biz Plat? Or do you treat it as a charge card?

I've gotten 4 AMEX cards in one day before, with a 700 EX 20 new accounts and an unpaid tax lien

What personal chase cards have you tried? Most are under 5/24. But British Airways isn't.

You should be softing your Cap1 every 6 months.

Call Sync and ask for increase on your Walmart.

Of course you're gonna take some hards on this journey, but Sync Ebates Visa and Sync Paypal MC can go up to 35K (maybe more for some people)

You can also app the Citi AAdvantage (both personal and business) . I'd personally wait for at least 50-60K miles offer on the personal (not the Admiral, the regular). I'm not sure what the highest for Business is. There's also a waiting period between Citi cards. So read up on that first.

I suggest you slow down.

ETA - AU's don't count.

+1000000000

If you race to get there, you will end up with a crap profile. And of course AUs don't count.

Can you see his siggy?

I see it now. A lot of AUs, a few high limit cards and a lot of what I would consider low limit cards.

Time for a break from apps IMO.
