While standing in line for self-checkout at the store I was behind this painfully slow lady.

After ringing up her groceries she dug through her purse for three minutes trying to find her card.

Then she put it in and couldn't get it to work because she wasn't pushing the credit/debit card button on the screen.

The only reason I was watching her actions was because I thought I was going to have to step in to help her.

Then I watched her punch in 0-0-0-0 as her pin and it was rejected. Then she did 1-2-3-4 and it was accepted. Must be her real pin because she received cash back.

I didn't realize banks still let you use things like 1-2-3-4 as a pin.

Were I work customers can have a passcode 4-8 digits long. A majority are of the shorter variety and the kind you'd find on list of the least secure passcodes/passwords.

People want to have security without any hassle which just isn't going to happen. You have to put some effort in to be as secure as possible.
