helplessimpotency Posted March 24, 2017 I opened an ally checking and ally savings account 6 months ago. Then about 30 days ago I opened 3 more savings accounts with them(to get around 6 transfers per savings account/month rule) So do I really have 5 new accounts listed on my chexsystems report? I ordered the report but wondering if that's what I should be expecting to see when I get it.
Burgerwars Posted March 27, 2017 (edited) With me, it's the EWS report (Early Warning Systems) that shows the existence of accounts. My Chex is mainly just inquiries. About two years ago I was literally thrown out of a bank branch, when they noticed recent Chex inquiries from some other banks. This was a learning experience. Don't open too many accounts at once. It can come back and bite you. Edited March 27, 2017 by Burgerwars
tmcgill Posted March 28, 2017 There may not be an inquiry for each account, given the timeframe between the last 3 accounts. Let us know what Ally added to your Chex report.
bpcnabe Posted March 29, 2017 Do inquiries on Chexsys drop off after 2 yrs like on credit reports? I recently pulled my Chex and there were ALOT of inquiries over the past few years, most before my Chex negatives aged out. I don't need any accounts at present and am just wondering when I can see a clean report if the future need arises. Thx.

Burgerwars Posted March 29, 2017 For Chex, I've still been seeing them show for three years, but I'm unsure if financial institutions see them for a shorter period.
tmcgill Posted March 29, 2017 Thanks Burgerwars, I always get this one wrong. It's 3 years for hard inquiries.(Shows it on the actual report) - http://bit.ly/2nkJj2X
