Some clickbait (and likely filled with alternate facts) article I read somewhat related to this stated for the present children being born now at the current rate of postsecondary education expense increases, the cost of education at private institutions will exceed the likely lifetime salary expectations for 90% of those who graduate. It put the 4-year number around a million dollars, and about 1.5 million for a grad school degree (didn't state level - masters or Ph.D)
