It's been years since I last had a Bacon Maple. I must go. Maybe this weekend.

I live in Portland Oregon and I think that voodoo is good and all. The problem is the REALLY cool hipsters that work there... If your not "hip" like them they tend to be dicks!! The maple bacon is delicious though..

You got me curious about the salaries for those "cool hipsters." Some Googling returned $10 - $12 an hour in Portland plus all the doughnuts you can eat. The work environment was on the poor side. Unless you're an owner/have a financial interest in the place, it's just a young person's job. Not some sort of career.

I might go down next weekend. VooDoo Doughnuts is described as a tourist trap. People who don't like donuts will eat there. Universal CityWalk is mostly a tourist trap, but I go down there once in a while. I never pay for parking, which is now $18. I park down at the Metro subway park-and-ride lot on Lankershim Blvd. I don't just walk across the street and take the tram up the hill. I would be asking for my car to be towed. I walk down in the subway station, hang around there for a few minutes, then walk out.
