Come on here to read advice and the news stories people post. I recently finished rebuilding and had my reports cleaned. I was denied for good cards for "inquiries" when I had an old delinquency on my reports.

I took the last few months off from applying until it was removed (based on what I read on here) and was able to finally get a Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo card. All with 53 inquiries and a boat load of accounts in last two years (only three in the last year).

Thanks for the advice on here!

Welcome and thanks for posting some of your story!

Please share some more detail as I'm sure there's someone else out there with a similar situation.

Congrats on the success and approvals!

What CHASE card were you able to get with 53 Inq's on you're reports ?

INQS don't matter I got Chase Southwest Visa last year with 49 INQS on EX and got approved for Citibank on Tues with 47 on EX.
