They've been sending me letters about every 1-2 months for the last year for this card. Decided to try for it, instantly approved online. This is good because I closed my personal PRG card on account of the annual fee a few months back.

Best part is the 75,000 MR points offer with $5k spend in the first 90 days. Added an "employee card" for my sister so she can help me get there.

Double check your sign-up offer. I opened an Open Gold last month, also with a 75k offer, but it was a 2 step offer - 50k MR for the first $5k of spend, and an additional 25kMR for the next $5k.

Gotcha. Well 50k is still pretty impressive even if that is the case.

There was an offer that closed September 29th that i apped and was approved. Just got 75,000 pts credited this morning, nice Christmas present from Amex. 😎

Whenever I fill out an app, I take a screen shot and email it to myself so I have a record of what it was they promised me if there is any issue down the road.

I also usually wonder about halfway through the spending bonus if they know what I should be getting and I have to check the screen shot out of paranoia... but I've never had an issue.

Diito, got one at company I work for...not for me though, but for 100,000. Didn't know they have a Gold 100k offer.

 

Too bad the company owners despise CC use, SMH
