I searched the forum but didn't find anything...

Got a letter stating if I don't use it in a month they'll close the hefty $300 limit store card since it's inactive.

I've had this card for close to a year now, only used it few times and paid it off. I read somewhere TD Bank is trying to boost their card portfolio? Should I just use it, pay it off and see if they'll increase the limit or convert to their M/C?

Had that happen to mine awhile ago.

A $300 limit with Target is useless and I never used it. They eventually chopped it to $200 then closed it.

You must go through a lot of shampoo.

My wife. She finds a lot of stuff for the kids there and it adds up quickly.

When she has the time and is really looking, we can get up there.

Hmm. I go in with a list (let's say shampoo, ibuprofen, almond milk, paper towels, aluminum foil) and leave for under $30. It doesn't matter how long I look, I do not find things I didn't need when I went in.

You haven't met my wife.

Target has been good to me. I started last January and received a 300 limit. It went to 700, 1200 and recently 1900. I run a lot through it and during the summer I carried a balance for 3 months. I'm hoping in March they will convert to a MC. Looks like they AR every 3 billing cycle.

To get the quarterly increases that they have been giving this past year it appears to help if you let it report before paying it. That seems to help trigger a cli review.

its good for the 5% off IF you shop there. My card was stuck at $500 for years and they bumped it to $700 woo hoo. Id keep it if it served a regular purpose for you, if not then let em close it. you could always ask for a cli...which they are notorious for saying they dont take requests... and if they say no, you can close it and the limit will show as $300. thats better than then choping in to a $200 limit then letting them close it imho.

I had a 200CL for years and they just recently over the past year decided it was a good thing to give me a 1500CL.

Target is like crack. All my other cards I PIF. Target carries a balance monthly in my household :(

You must buy a lot of AA batteries and dryer sheets.

Maybe I'll go buy some dryer sheets. Good grief I better go super early in the morning though as I don't want to be dealing with the last minute shoppers.

Definitely order online! I love Target at Christmas time because they ship everything free. Last year I ordered one box of Ziploc bags.

Tomorrow I have a Target delivery coming... one bottle of ibuprofen and a bag of Plackers.

One thing too.. login to the target card site and there is a option where you can enter your annual income. Do that. I believe it even says that if you want to be considered for increases to enter the info.

I changed mine to 10 million bucks just to see if it makes a difference.
