I would love to be able to get a Citi AA card.

American Airlines has he most gates in Pittsburgh so it would be a good fit.

I have a BK7 discharged 8/14.

I DID NOT IIB Citi.

I have also had a nice rebuild so far with over $137,000 in revolving lines and no negatives since the BK7.

My EX FICO is at 693 right now but I am hoping to be over 700 in the next few days.

Utilization sits around 4%.

I have read in the credit pulls that there were a few that got approved for Citi Costco Anywhere card with younger BK's than mine.

Do you think I have a shot? Am I ready for PRIME TIME?

Are you willing to burn an inquiry, for science?

Is your EX waiting for something to update to be more inline with the other two?

This is definitely not a GP move or just a play for science.

This is a card that I really want and according to recent Citi approvals I may have a chance for approval.

I am waiting for recent payments to post to the CRA's that will show a 0 bal. Nothing crazy just from normal spend.

I also will have 2 accounts that when the payments post will show 24 months history. I'm hoping to be over 700 on EX when this happens.

I have a total of 2 inquires on EX in the last 24 months. 1 from Discover 12/15 and the other from Blispay 4/16.

There is no solid yes or no answer for you. As you see, Citi has approved for the card with recent BK's. I'm sure they've denied plenty as well.

Wait for the $0 balances to report and give it a shot. That's all you can do.

Actually, hopefully you left a couple bucks on one of the cards for the possible $2 trick...I really have no idea if there's any benefit with a BK reporting or not.

And if you're denied, don't be afraid to appeal to the EO

Thank you!

I forgot to mention I received the "please call us to verify" message after I applied, not instant approval. When I called they asked about my income, verified my name, address, and phone #. I was put on hold for 3 min then approved. I think they are tough on BK's because I've been denied in the past by them.

I was approved yesterday for the AA Card by Citi and given an $8,500 credit limit. My BK was discharged 11/08, utilization 3%, and my credit score is 700.

Congats! Its a card on my wish list.
