Stumbled upon this belatedly ...

Not sure about the "nonsense", but maybe the cheaper ethanol content has been overlooked.  E85 "flex fuel" has a high ethanol component, 88 has 15%, 87 has 10%, and, of course, the remaining two don't contain ethanol.  The greater the ethanol in the mix, the cheaper the pump price.

OMG, I had no idea (not about " ... is people!", but that it was set in 2022).

That movie put a whole new spin on the concept of "people movers" ;)   Absolutely loved Edward G Robinson in that film.  I was astounded to learn that he died 12 days after filming wrapped.

Movies like Soylent Green, Silent Running and Andromeda Strain kept me an avid movie goer back then.  (I think a kid's matinee ticket went for 35 cents.)

Just saw the new Fantastic Beasts installment (I'm not so easy to please these days, but this was 100% on the mark and managed to fully engage me in ways that the previous two titles failed to spark my imagination).  Tickets were just under $10 each, thanks to a buck "senior discount".  (tub of popcorn and a large soda good for another $17)
