New USAA 2.5% Unlimited Cash Back Card

Recommended Posts

Bumping this topic because USAA is expanding the available states. I did not get a personal offer but found it in the available cards. I am in Colorado.

It says:

Exclusive Online-Only Pilot — Limited Availability”; and “This product is currently available to members residing in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, GA, ID, IN, KS, LA, MI, NM, PA, SC, TN and WA. It will become available in additional states at a later date.

It’s a good deal for me because I use USAA for banking already and only do cash rewards anyway. I already have the Rate Advantage with a 35k LOC and this was approved for 15k to bring me up to the reported 50K max CC exposure.

I'm in Texas. No military affiliation, but my neighbor is a member.

Any paths to membership?

This card will get nerfed in under a year.

This is a money-loser, and the initial losses are budgeted by the issuer as customer acquisition/marketing expenses.

Marry your neighbor.

If I were a gay man, I'd certainly make that happen!!!
