Walmart's CLI page seemed to have changed in the last few weeks. It never asked for the "amount you're requesting". It was always the annual income that was met with denial unless I used chat.

 

So I tried my measly $1,200 M/C and asked for $5,000. Approved! It says DO NOT HIT THE BACK BUTTON. WELL I DID. I figured I'll ask higher and get denied but no, asked for $25,000 and approved $8,000 :grin:

 

I went back and did the same for the regular store card. Increased $5,000 to $6,000 :wave:

Weird right?

Not that I ever use these cards but figured I let you folks know. By the way, I only had the M/C Wally card since beginning of September. Bought a piece of candy & paid off and was sitting at -$0.04

 

Now if Discovery would be this nice.

$1.85 for a KitKat bar lol ($1.50 but they charge more for CC usage with a fee yikes)! :blush: I used three cards the same that had $0 balance but was approaching three months of no usage so I was trying to use them before they closed it on me.

Awesome Whipped! Just because you brought up walmart cli, i hit the button on walmart, tjmaxx and lowes, got "we'll give a decision in 7-10 days, doesn't sound good does it?!!! Lol. I asked for 25k, 10k, and 35k respectively. Same amounts I've been asking the SR UW for once a month on the phone for the last year.

That's weird, I've never seen that message. It was always a straight decline so maybe a good sign? :)

i had just done a walmart increase recently. i had only asked for 1,000 increase and it was approved. based on your post i went back and asked for a higher amount it came back and gave me another 1500. never seen the luv button give back to back increases but evidently i left money on the table last time :>) tried some other cards with synchrony site that use the new format website and those were shot down. must be working on the traditional format synchrony websites

Has anyone tried over 25K and got an instant approval through with method?

 

I started using 50K and got the following results with Sync:

 

Marvel: $5K -> $6K

TJX: $1K -> $8K (two month old account)

Toys R Us M/C: $1,200 -> $8K (two month old account)

BP Visa: $1,800 -> $6K (two month old account)

Lowe's: 7-10 day message (brand new account)

 

Funny enough GAP store & Banana Republic VISA still has the old interface and denied for the CLI.

 

Always get denied via the luv button.

 

Hit it now and asked for $5K and got it.

 

Something weird going on there.

 

Go back and ask for higher lol.

More luv button success, one store card went from 750.00 to 5k, and on jcp i asked for 5k and it gave me 3500. then i went and looked at my transunion credit report online to check for account reviews sure enough they had today's date for each one i requested. so they soft pulled my reports for each limit increase. maybe they are opening up for the holidays. some places are more generous near the holidays. analysis told me this about macys and i got a 400 increase from them last month. synchrony is a strange bird. still can't get my paypal extras mc limit increased only have had 3 statements balance paid in full each month.

That's what I was thinking as well. I only use one CC (Marvel) currently and Amazon. The rest have no benefits for me right now. Working my way up for better CC next year.

I have a Walmart card that previously has gone from 700-850-1550 via online CLI requests - just gave it a try and was approved for 6000!

 

Tried with my Marvel card (currently 2000) and got a 7-10 day notice - it is only about a month old though.

 

(My TU score has improved into the low 700s recently, FWIW.)
