Why Chat Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Ok I will follow your instructions for the medical accounts. I will be back with all the information upon TU's response to medical dispute! Thanks! Yes, I have disputed non medical accounts online, as I was going to go the 623 route. Seeing as how you don't suggest it I will not send out the 623. Can I still use your program for the SOL letter even though disputed online? They are all 4 years old and out of the SOL. Yes, but you need to wait until the medical accounts are gone, otherwise your disputes will be merged. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Transunion received the priority mail containing the initial dispute on September 10th. Nothing is showing up online as far as "In dispute status." Is this ok? Should I call to make sure they have it? Quote

Nothing is showing up online as far as "In dispute status." Is this ok? Should I call to make sure they have it? NO!! DO NOT CALL! That would insert your dispute into the automated computer programs. Have you opted out?? Why are you only disputing to TU?? Is the medical account you are disputing ONLY on TU?? Are you following the guides? http://www.whychat.5u.com/GUIDEBOOK.html http://www.whychat.5u.com/GUIDE%20HIPAA%20PROGRAM.html Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Yes, I opted out before starting anything. I followed your instructions to only send the initial dispute with TU, due to filing online disputes with the other CRA's in months past. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 How do I know that Transunion is processing the initial dispute? Priority mailed and delivery confirmation 9/10/2016. Quote
Why Chat Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Wait until the 30th ( 20 days from their receipt) if you haven't heard anything by then check the "back door" Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 I haven't heard anything back from TU in regards to my initial dispute. It has been 20 days since they received it. Tried going through the backdoor but it pulled a report from 9/05/2016. So I don't know what is going on. Next step? Quote
Why Chat Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 If you pulled an old report you did NOT use the "back door". Go to the CRA website, DO NOT "sign on" click on FILE A NEW DISPUTE, follow the instructions. You will NOT actually be filing a new dispute so it is OK to allow e-mail notice of the results. This will bring up your CURRENT report. Make sure you opt out again when you finish. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 On TU's website you must create a login name and password. Which I have. Tried logging on and this popped up: Unfortunately, your request cannot be fulfilled online. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you believe you have found some inaccurate information on your TransUnion Credit Report and would like to request an investigation or submit a change of information, please use one of the following methods to submit your dispute request: Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 1, 2016 Author Posted October 1, 2016 So I cannot check the back door. Do I just keep waiting and hope they are handling it? I know 3rd party sites arent reliable, but I do notice nothing has changed on CK or on my purchased IdenityGuard account. I do not rely on this sites and do pull direct copies from CRA's(when I can.) Quote
Why Chat Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 You do NOT want to create a login name or password. PLEASE just try to follow the instructions. ( assuming you have a recent REAL TU report with a report #) Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Posted October 2, 2016 What web address are you using that you do not need to log in on? Every road I try with a Transunion dispute lands me on the log in page! I'm going crazy here. I click dispute online and it takes me there..... Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Posted October 2, 2016 I cleared cookies and all. Tried again. Lets me enter personal info and wants me to enter the file information(account name, number etc.) It does not pull up a new report. Quote
Why Chat Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 I cleared cookies and all. Tried again. Lets me enter personal info and wants me to enter the file information(account name, number etc.) It does not pull up a new report. Does it ask you to enter the ID # of your report?? Are you asking to file a NEW dispute?? Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Posted October 2, 2016 Yes,a NEW dispute. It asks for the report number as well. I enter it and it still asks me to enter account information that I would like to dispute. There was already a TU account established months ago, could I call and have it removed from their system? If this in fact is causing the issue? If so, I could start the process all over again? We are trying for a house by next summer and I would like to have this resolved by then! What ever you suggest. Quote
Why Chat Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 There should be a link for you to view your report . Try deleting cookies or go in on someone else's computer. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Posted October 2, 2016 Will try again. If this problem still occurs and I do not hear back from TU after 40 days, what would be my next move? Thank you for your patience in assisting me! Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 Still cannot get in through back door. No word from TU. Don't know what to do! Quote
kimbachelle Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Just be patient, if you can't get in wait for their response. It still has not been 30 days since they received your dispute. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Results from Transunion came in today! 11 out of 15 accounts deleted! I will now show the details of each collection and where they are reporting so that you can direct me on whether to use your initial dispute letter for (some) collections that I had disputed online in August or just go directly to the step of DV to the collectors. This is my first time uploading a document, I hope it works! Thanks to both of you again for all your help! Quote

Kmlingo5 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) I should have stated that Transunion verified the 4 accounts that were not deleted. All accounts that were disputed online(with EQ and EX) were done in August, if that matters. Edited October 11, 2016 by Kmlingo5 Quote
kimbachelle Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Your charts are confusing me - of the 4 left on TU, 3 say "no dispute" and 1 says "updated after online dispute". I thought that you had NOT disputed online with TU, and that you included all the accounts in your initial HIPAA dispute?? Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Before I was organized and on this site one account was disputed online with TU. I had forgotten about it. I have a system and am organized now. Hoping everything is still going to work. Quote
Kmlingo5 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Do I send the HIPAA initial dispute to all accounts NEVER disputed to both EQ and EX? Or would I include the online disputed accounts as well? Quote
