CRA: EX
FICO: 750 FICO 8
Util: a few $ (less than 1%)
Over 5/24: yes
Chase Banking Relationship: yes
Chase Private Client: no
App immediate outcome: 7-10 day message online with 30 day message via email

Notes: I called to recon and was denied, and went into a Chase branch to try to recon through a banker. He asked for special reconsideration for me and I was ultimately denied. I offered to hard close my CSP (opened 7/2014) but the answer was the same. I was told that this had nothing to do with my credit or overall Chase exposure, but only new accounts (5/24).

CRA: EX
FICO:790 FICO Bankcard Score 08
Util: 9%
Over 5/24: yes
Chase Banking Relationship: only with credit cards (Amazon and CSP)
Chase Private Client: no
App immediate outcome: 7-10 day message

Notes: I called the application status line and it states they need more time to evaluate. Have not called for Recon yet

Update: I called for status and application was denied. I asked for reconsideration. The Chase underwriter says that the only reason I was denied is that I am over the limit of new credit cards in the past 24 months. I asked if I could move the limit from my Chase Sapphire Prefered to the Reserve card. The answer was "no"... He did suggest that I call Member Services and ask for a product change from CSP to the Reserve. He hadn't heard of it working but thought I should give it a shot. I may try another recon in the next day or so. sigh. I want this card badly now..

CRA: EX
FICO: EX FICO 8 725
Util: 9% (and about 60% on my Chase Slate due to 0% offer)
Over 5/24: Dead on. (C$R is 6th account)
Chase Banking Relationship: Only CC's. Slate and CSP
Chase Private Client: No
App immediate outcome: Instant Approval for $10k

Notes: Interesting that they approved me for less than my CSP that I just got in July. Called to see if they'd match it, but the guy didn't seem to want to try, and indicated it would be an additional HP. I declined. When I get the Slate paid off, I'll transfer that to this card, and I plan on PCing my CSP to a freedom when it reaches 6 months.

Util: 2%
Over 5/24: yes more than double
Chase Banking Relationship: no
Chase Private Client: no
App immediate outcome: 30 day email, called auto app status line at night and it says 7-10 day message.

Notes: Almost for sure denied for 5/24 so I don't think there is any reason to call recon, but I am going to check in a branch tomorrow and see if there's a pre-approval.

CRA: EX single pull
FICO: 803 EX Bankcard 08/778 EX FICO 08 not sure yet which version they used
Util:<1% $3 dollars exactly
Over 5/24: yes at 8/24 not counting business cards, all V/MC/AMEX oh and a Disco
Chase Banking Relationship: yes checking and just opened savings for bonus and hoping for pre approval
Chase Private Client: no, but Banker I worked with spoke with me about it and gave CPC packet to look over after we chatted about investments and portfolio's
App immediate outcome: approved $31K @ 16.24

Notes: Opened a savings account and moved some $$ over for the bonus. Chatted with the Banker about investments and such. When it was wrapped up, I asked if there were and CC pre approvals linked to my account. He said, yes I did see some, let me bring them up. Had pre approval's for Slate, CSP and C$R. He tried to describe the benefits of the new card and failed not really knowing what the card had, but kept saying it's really good and just came out. I asked to see the pre approval before applying and he printed it out and showed me. I signed it and said go ahead and proceed.

5 minutes later chatting and staring at his screen, he picks up the phone and says they are asking him to call in. He calls they ask how he verified my info, ask my mothers maiden name, then start asking about balances in my other banking institutions. Checking/savings/investments etc. That was new to me, I have never been asked about money in other banks. On hold for about 5 minutes, he says they want to talk to you. Gentlemen asks my name, confirms my social and says he is happy to approve me for $31K and I would get my card in about 2 weeks....

CRA: No pull thus far

FICO: Between 740 and 760 depending on whom they (eventually) pull
Util: 4%
Over 5/24: Just a "little": 26/24
Chase Banking Relationship: Only CCs (CSP, Marriot, Amazon)
Chase Private Client: No
App immediate outcome: 7-10 day message

Notes: Called on the phone and was told I was pre-approved. In bank pre-approval was shown to me on the screen; pre-approval terms were printed and signed. Personal banker had to call in, placed on long hold: "We've been swamped with applications; the call center has been very busy."

Result: 7-10 day notice.

WTH!? I realized the paperwork says "Pre-SCREENED" (not "pre-approval") and states clearly, "This offer is not guaranteed, and in some instances we many not be able to open an account for you."

Personal banker relates that they've been so inundated with applications, "all applications are entered into a cue."

I can only hope that no notice of HP from my monitoring services means that the application hasn't actually been submitted; that this story of all apps going into a "cue" is true and that once submitted Chase's Pre-screen offer is valid... I'm going to be a bit pissed if I took a HP for nothing.

FWIW, it hasn't been discussed that I've seen, but one theory I've had for *some* of the pre-screened offers, despite being over 5/24 (such as my 26/24) are existing Chase customers... whom also hold AmEx Platinum, in Chase directly competing with AmEx - this was why I assumed I may have been given a pre-screened approval. Now let's just see if it was worth anything.

Util: 0.96%
Over 5/24: no, 2/24 inclduing CSR app
Chase Banking Relationship: started Premier Plus Checking before app
Chase Private Client: no
App immediate outcome: immediately approved in-branch--$29.9k 16.24%

Notes: Told the banker I was interested in opening a checking account and interested in the CSR. Opened the Premier Plus with $500 coupon w/direct deposit (mortgage is through Chase in fiance's name, this will become our joint acct, so no monthly fees). Asked if I was pre-approved for anything and he said I was, but not the Reserve. He said we could run an app and see what happens, I was pre-approved for the Preferred, and practically everything else, so I figured I'd just pull the trigger and app something else, if it didn't work out. He looked more closely at the screen and saw that the Sapphire cards were their own category and then clicked the button for Reserve and it said I was pre-approved. Told him to pull the trigger and here we are.
