And yet it appeared on this very page in a post made within the past day...

I believe it was just implemented (again). Anything before that time isn't included. Or, Marv is doing it manually and missed one :P

From your posting history, I don't recall you having escalating rates of utilization...thus you would not blip their model, nor would other credit xxxxxxx.  The MyFUKO wunderkind who think the shopping trick is the greatest thing since sliced bread, on the other hand, do NOT pay attention to things like utilization, they don't pay in full and they rarely look at the OTHER part of utilization ratios (you know, the number of cards with a balance compared to the number of cards).  The bustout modeling looks at them as the ideal candidate...and their own actions suggest they are primed given how many believe that paying double the minimum is some huge feat or major accomplishment.

All you have to do is let a balance post instead of PIF before statement date.

FYI. Nobody can use that term.

Marv, I can't figure out why you guys insist on pissing up a rope.  There is more than one way to skin a cat. ;)

Wait...we can say credit *Admin does not allow masked profanity. Please read our Terms of Service.* but NOT credit *Admin does not allow masked profanity. Please read our Terms of Service.*?  Speaking of things that make no sense...

Never mind...apparently only some of us can use that term...

Centex, think outside the box.

Were you trying to say Credit Hore?  Credit Ho?  Credit Whoore?  Credit Slut?  Credit Wh0re?

Jethro, I'm sorry nobody noticed your p0rn subscriptions as a sign of heavy spending.  Perhaps if you were off food stamps you could put decent grocery spend on your card.

You are so off your game, PotO!  Is everything ok?

I've come to expect so much better from you when it comes to lobbing an insult.  This one wouldn't fly even on a grade school playground ...

Thank you for trying to instigate and instruct members how to evade our word filters.   That proves how much respect you have for our Terms of Service.  That saddens me, because I truly thought better of you than that.

Marv, Credit Wh*re is a term practically trademarked by CB that has been used here for years.  Now that all of a sudden it is banned only makes me wonder if there isn't a whiny little beach that all of a sudden feels the need for a safe space.

As for instructing members how to evade word filters, I appreciate the credit you have given me and the confidence in my supreme abilities.  Unfortunately, you missed the mark.  People have been evading the word filters here for many years and, as much as I appreciate your vote of confidence, I am not the first and likely to be the last.  You yourself have previously commented how word filters are easily circumvented and how it's a never-ending challenge for you to keep them effective.

While I can understand trying to restrict the F word or the S word, I don't see anything so  terrible in the use of credit ho to anybody but those with a puerile brain SJW.  Are you now going to ban "credit pimp"?  You've banned the R word because some two-bit trigger pumping moron can't accept they have a re ... -- Ooppsss, can't use that word here -- kid.  Next will you ban "trailer park" or "double-wide because it sets someone off?

As for recommending alternatives to credit ho, we use alternative forms on many other words to circumvent censorship.  Everybody here looks down on myFUKO.  Are you really thinking FUCO is a typo for FICO?  We can't say someone is the S word, but we can type that they are a POS.  People find a way to express themselves and their emotions.  Do you really believe someone is going to type so-and-so at myFUKO is a piece of dried up brown biological substance that has a foul smell as can float?

I picture you as a very reasonable and extremely intelligent guy, Marv.  I still do.  I attribute your quoted remark just as the result of you having a bad day at the office.  Thank you.

I'm not interested in sucking up to any one.  That said, if any mod here wakes up tomorrow and deems that a term I've found innocuous to date is potentially offensive and not to be used further on the board, I'm good.  I have no need to superimpose my judgement on theirs.

With few exceptions, I presume that all active participants respect and appreciate the mods volunteer efforts.  I admire anyone who steps up to that plate.  Their efforts are key to keeping this board a constructive and positive forum.

I don't see a problem with discussing a particular mod action, nor do expect that they do.  But constantly making a point of reminding us that you disagree with a decision to reject a particular term for use on the board is simply disrespectful.

stop lying on credit card applications with subprime lenders!

My significant other received a Discover Card a few months ago, with a 8500 limit.  She used that, and has been making regular on time payments.   They contacted her today asking her to sign a 4506 form,so they can verify info on her tax records.  Problem is, she hasn't filed 2017 or 2018 yet.
I'm assuming that they'll pull her credit line at that point, and make her pay off the balance.  Anyone have any insight as to why they're asking now?  How will that affect her credit?  if anyone knows if that will raise any red flags at the IRS, I'd appreaciate it

I wish Comenity and Sync would go on a 4506 spree. If anything, it would reduce the amount of ridiculous signatures over there.

I can’t believe the part about raising red flags with the IRS. Are the people there really that ignorant? I swear it seems like a lot of them just hop on the magic spade and race to 10,000,000 maxed out toy cards.

Damn right! Next time I buy a car not only won’t I put any money down, I’m going to have the dealership give me $15k extra in cash.

Pro tip:  a cash-out refi on one's current vehicle can be a shrewd way to raise money for a new air fryer, or concert tickets.

Not to mention on a designer pink-flowered jacket.  But I bet porch surging and petty thievery is more rewarding.

I see no hope for this girl.  Well, unless she marries some rich, hot stud like Marv or CV.

Marv maybe...CV doubtful.
