I like slim wallets because I never carry cash, and prefer to keep the wallet in the front pocket (where it belongs!)

Now... last year I found a decent design one in South Korea that had 3 wide pockets on each side, another pocket behind the main 3 on each side, and kind of folded open between the sides for a space in the middle I guess for cash?

However, after some months I decided the leather was too hard and grippy as having all slots full made it grab the cards too tightly, so I searched high and low for a similar design with softer leather.

Found a German company named Golden Head who makes a seemingly nice black leather wallet like this with 4 slots per side, and a little middle pocket (which I now put the driver license in since it can't fall out).

.....however

I would like to downsize and carry no more than 4 cards at a time, generally speaking. Also... I feel like I am becoming snobbish, and just want a fancier wallet at least for certain occasions.

This led me to find Goyard, and I have become obsessed with a 'card holder wallet' they make called Saint Sulpice, which is again a slim design with 2 slots per side and a middle slot. Plus it looks so sharp in light blue...

How do you decide if something is too expensive? I totally can drop the money for it since it's (relatively) cheap, but I haven't yet convinced myself that anyone needs to spend $400+ for a slim card wallet.

Look at how much women spend on a Michael Kors purse

Bellroy has some different colors, too. Hartmann and Tumi I think are just the traditional brown or black. They are great for front (shirt) pocket.

I prefer wallets made by Lodis. I buy them at Nordstrom, but they can be bought on Amazon sometimes. I even saw one at TJ Maxx. I have their credit card holder, actually I need to buy an additional one.
