I closed it because I don't do business with Arkansas based firms.

That probably explains the 2017 post in this thread about the fact it started reporting and was no longer a hidden gem...

Is it going to continue to work in Cuba?

I don't think we found out if this card ever did work in Cuba and even if it did, as previously posted, there are very few places in Cuba that can even accept a credit/debit card. However there appears to be another separate hidden advantage to this card!

Before traveling to Cuba I convinced DW to apply for the SGB card by walking into a branch. It took almost a month to get the card. The only places that take credit or debit are some of the major hotels such as the National in Havana and a few higher end restaurants. I can confirm it will work in those places and in case of emergency there are plenty of ATMs., Only 45 minutes by air from me but it might as well be the moon as far as the things we take for granted.

Do you still have this card?

I did not realize that Stonegate Bank was acquired in 2017....

https://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/news/2017/09/28/home-bancshares-completes-acquisition-of-stonegate.html

The parent company of Centennial Bank completed its acquisition of Stonegate Bank on Tuesday, finalizing the sale of one of South Florida's largest banks.

Arkansas-based Home BancShares, Inc. initially announced in March it would acquire Pompano Beach-based Stonegate Bank in a cash and stock deal.
