Stonegate Bank Becomes First U.S. Bank to Issue MasterCard Credit Cards for Use in Cuba

Recommended Posts

I'm joking of course about the domicile of the SGB owner... but not about closing it. 2019 is a year where my credit positions will undergo a change in kind not degree. :)

Do you still have this card?

I did not realize that Stonegate Bank was acquired in 2017....

https://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/news/2017/09/28/home-bancshares-completes-acquisition-of-stonegate.html

The parent company of Centennial Bank completed its acquisition of Stonegate Bank on Tuesday, finalizing the sale of one of South Florida's largest banks.

Arkansas-based Home BancShares, Inc. initially announced in March it would acquire Pompano Beach-based Stonegate Bank in a cash and stock deal.

That probably explains the 2017 post in this thread about the fact it started reporting and was no longer a hidden gem...
