Burdell
The Expanse. Amazing show -- it's like Game of Thrones in outer space. goldtrad

cashnocredit
Arli$$. Not sure why I find it funny as hell but love Wuhl and Oh. Saw most of it when first aired so catching up on episodes missed. HBO on Demand. And a shout out to Dusty Springfield who sings the title intro. "I Only Want To Be With You" Love the way she pronounces "Honey" in the song. While you are on HBO, the McMillion$ multi-part documentary is actually worth a watch...I initially thought it was just a new series when I saw it on the guide but then realized it was multi-part dealing with the monopoly game scam from 20 years ago. The federal agent cracks me up... I believe it was six parts in total, so about six hours of viewing...

smartlypretty
Mentioned previously but binged and thoroughly enjoyed Upload, although I'd obviously be with the dad on that one. Lately I've been re-watching Dead Files, and incrementally watching Penny Dreadful, the LA version. I have to watch the last two Outlanders and cancel Starz til it comes back. NorCalR1
Law and Order. Best episode I've seen during the binge-a-thon is "White Rabbit" Best line: She'll be out in 2003. The 60's should be over by then. Best exchange: You couldn't get a search warrant? The President of the United States said we didn't need one. cashnocredit
DEVS First two episodes of the SF series. Not sure if I'll get sucked in. Love the SF/Silicon Valley vibe. Complete with buses hauling worker bees to creepy corporate HQ, spies, and geeks.
StarkRaven$
Re-watched an old time fav crime drama thriller, Black Widow with Theresa Russell and Debra Winger. Then enjoyed watching Michael Clayton for the first time. Kat58

cashnocredit
Wife and I just watched "And the Band Played On." which is about the early days of AIDS. Interesting contrast to Covid-19 which spreads faster but is a couple orders of magnitude less lethal. Wife lived in SF at the time and many of her friends were gay and some died. It devastated the gay community and has only been effectively treatable for the last few decades. The really long incubation period before serious illness made tracing difficult. And we didn't have the tech we do know to genetically decode viruses and ID them quickly. Still takes a while to figure out exactly how any given virus spreads and does its thing. hegemony and smartlypretty

cashnocredit
I'll be Gone in the Dark - HBO Back in the 90's browsing in a technical bookstore I found an interesting book that explored the twisted mental states of serial killers. It detailed 6 or 7 difference cases. The book was pricey and apparently marketed to students going into LE or social services areas. Turned out one of these psychopaths dumped several bodies down a ravine that was about 500' from where I lived then. Creepy.

Oddly, I've been binging Queer as Folk (which I have seen and loved) and some storylines prompted me to search around about AIDS and I forgot about AIDS deniers and then it just was depressing thinking about right now. Also, I got Showtime for Penny Dreadful, and it's on Showtime, so I might check this out, it sounds interesting. Kat58
