So what did you get in the mail today?

All I got in the mail was a bunch of trash mail, a denial letter from Disco for a CLI, and a note from BOA saying that they're no longer investigating our "attempt to pursue a loan modification due to not receiving the requested documentation".

Good, they got the hint

Got another surprise. Not in the mail but Got a call from kids school principal. It was regarding my kids having accessed porn on the school laptop they have and get to use for the school year. Yike my day just turned 180 having to talk to the principal about that.

1. What kind of porn? Anything good?

2. Teach them how to use a VPN

Since we have a primary coming up my mailbox is deluged with political ads, strangely enough no POTUS mailers. All state and local primary challenges - state rep, state senator, US senate, even a couple county council races and I think even the dogcatcher race is getting ugly.

A notice that I have a certified letter to pick up at the post office - our post man doesn't like to have to get out of his vehicle. So I have to leave work early to get there before they close, and drive across friggen town to pick it up. Bastards. It is so not worth my time or effort.

Are you saying there was someone home to sign for the letter? If it happens often enough you can sign a Form 3849 that your carrier will keep on hand for certified letters. This way they can leave them without a signature. Makes it much more convenient for you and your Letter Carrier.

My mail carrier did the same thing. I log in to my USPS account and reschedule the delivery for the next day, hahahaha. After a few times of this, he just delivered it on the first round.

FNBO Amex 1.5% CB no AF. And a community college course catalog. Pass and pass.

Is 1.5 cash back not considered good?

Average.

Your baseline once your credit is in good shape should be 2% cash back.

It gets complicated once you get into travel rewards because 1.5% in Chase UR points is worth more than 2% cash back easily.

Absolutely correct. I'm finally in that position now. A year ago, I might have jumped at this offer.

There's enough tablets and phones and other computers at home to use. He knows better. I was young once too. Mom freaked out a bit since he's 15. I said it's probably been going on for 2 years at least. Then she got mad at me. Doah. Edited by blitzdonkey

I got a Bed Bath & Beyond flyer with a $5 coupon on the back, a mortgage refi offer that is significantly more expensive than either of the two we have in process, an HOA bill, a postcard from a REALTOR® telling me how much he understands my neighborhood, and a 2032 battery.

I may start a thread where everyone posts screenshots from the call histories on their mobile phones.

It's not bad, just doesn't fit in my profile. Better options out there.

the problem is FNBO more than the rewards structure.

Haha! I am def going to try this. The thing about it is someone is always home!! I've called the postmaster to only get " That doesn't sound like him, let me check into it" then I never hear anything back until my next certified notice. It's a pain in the butt! You're right though, next time I am making him come back

I got a Cruise Planners brochure from Amex Travel, a letter from Chase telling me they were unable to approve the CLI to $20,000 I recently requested on my Slate but would like me to know they gave me $15,000, and an FNBO Amex ITA that "only a select few" were worthy enough to receive lol. I get one of those (with different offers and term) about 3 times a month.

      REMINDER!
      Account Status 05 (Account transferred)
      to become obsolete for reporting
      Effective April 2022

As noted within Exhibit 4 (Account Status Codes) in the Credit Reporting Resource Guide (CRRG®) since 2020, Account Status 05 (Account Transferred) will become obsolete for reporting in April 2022.

Refer to the Transferred category within Exhibit 6 for a list of Special Comment Codes that should be used instead of Account Status 05. Refer to Frequently Asked Question & Answer 46 for guidance on reporting transferred accounts, and to Frequently Asked Question & Answer 47 for guidance on reporting sold accounts.

All guidance that relates to accounts being transferred or sold has previously been updated to advise that the Account Status should be reported as of the time of transfer or sale so no further updates will be made to existing CRRG® FAQs (46 & 47) as a result Account Status 05 being retired.

The Metro 2® Task Force recommends that data furnishers transition away from reporting Account Status 05 as soon as possible.

If there are any questions, please e-mail metro2info@cdiaonline.org.

      Thank you,
CDIA and Metro 2® Task Force
