Replacement Citi Double Cash card, along with one for the person who is Authorized user on my Exxon/Mobile Gas Card issued by Citi, but NOT on the DC.  Citi has no clue what they did.

Bizarre.  I’d call and ask when the AU was added to your DC.

I've called them, they claim added sometime prior to 2021.  I asked to be transferred to fraud/internal investigations, as I did not authorize this, and something may be wrong in their system.  Gave a report, have not heard back.

The good news is that there's apparently been no misuse to date and you can kill the AU card.  But I wouldn't exactly say, "no harm, no foul".

It's hard to say whether Citi can shed some light on the AU addition to the account, but it's worth trying to dig up a little history.

Discovered what didn't come in the mail Thursday:  Grass seed ordered from Amazon.

USPS tracking says the carrier brought it Thursday.  Wondering if it was grabbed by someone hoping it was a different seed.  Queried mailer, as Amazon directed.  It won't intercede until another 48 hrs.

I got a new paper shredder today. I invested in a heavy duty Fellowes Powershred one this time, so hopefully it can handle what I'm throwing at it. My last one only made it 7 months....

I also got a check from my lawyer in the mail today. Shitty bank settled my DH's FCRA case against them. Still waiting on a second check from Experian.

Letters from FNBO telling me they are taking over my Amtrak credit card accounts.

At least I won’t have to reapply from scratch when the Amtrak relationship is over with BofA.

I’ll post more details in my thread concerning the new cards later. On the surface it looks like the “travel” category for what is considered travel has been broadened.

I have both the AF card and no AF card. So hence I got two letters.

I have the FNBO Getaway card from them. It gives 3x points on travel, and that category is extremely broad. Last time I looked at the T&Cs, I think it took up about half a page just listing everything that qualifies. Hopefully, your new Amtrak cards might work the same way. I use this one for travel expenses that are not hotels or airlines because it's pretty decent for a no-AF card.

The travel category on the new $99 AF card Is pretty broad. Lot more broad than the AF card from BofA.

Notice that our annual property tax payment on our GA home is late ...

I freaked, asking myself why DCU failed to send out the payment.  Logged onto the County site and it confirmed the account was still late and a $300+ late fee tacked on.

Started looking up the DCU phone number when I paused and slapped myself in the face.  We consolidated the debt into the MA mortgage when we refinanced in January.

I was aware of receiving the tax billing, setting it aside thinking that DCU would take care of it.  (I keep my fingers crossed that the very asking of the question, "Am I becoming senile?" is good evidence that I'm not ...)

$8k CLD on my CITI DC (... a significant portion of your credit limit is not being used.)  $26k -> $18k

Stopped being my "daily driver" with the advent of various 3%/5% category cards and I decided to defect to the WF 2% card.   Still putting approx $100/mo to keep active.

Notice states I can call within 60 days to request reinstatement (subsequent text suggests the review would be a "soft" inquiry, if one is required.  Request later than that will be considered a "new credit limit increase request".

Given that I don't have any intent to use near-to-medium term, I'm not inclined to call.  (bt offers typically feature 5% fees for me, ruling that use out as well.)

Citi products have certainly lost their luster (compared w/ 15 years ago).  Wonder how they manage to compete with the likes of Chase, et al.
