And be warned....plastiq can take a while to get your payment sent. I know everyone doesn't have the same experience but the two times I used them for a mortgage payment it was almost late. Not on the mortage co. processing, but plastiq being able to get a check out.

wow, that doesn't sound good.Did you schedule the payment the beginning of the month?

Isn't there any others ways to pay with that 2.5% charge?

I gave them 10 days ahead of the first when submitting the payment request. Our servicer doesn't assess a late fee until the 10th of the month and it was close both times. I thought the first time was a fluke, the second time took even longer, now I can't see using the service again. It's entirely too slow, especially if you're used to how reliable Serve / BB bill pay was.

So which are you using to pay your mortgage now?

I used Plastiq to meet a spend requirement for Barclay and there was no issue. Well, not with Barclay. Payment went through Plastiq on the 28th and posted on the account the 16th. So if you are thinking of paying a mortgage due 4/1, I would not advise Plastiq. Or, go ahead and try it so long as you have another way to pay it before the 10th or 15th or whatever your late fee date would be. Then when that payment gets there it can be the 5/1 payment. I will be trying radpad next, and will certainly offer my experience after.
