Discover CSRs blow

I didn't say that. ;)

Honestly, one of the nicest analyst I've EVER spoken to. Nice and easy. Meanwhile off-shore Chase guy only called me 'Mr.BigBear' no less than 40 times while reading his script...

I plan to close my secured Applied Bank Visa.

According to them, I'm one of the rare few that has a card from them with no AF or other fees. A couple of years back, I had to get a replacement card. Mag strip died. CSR on the other end of the phone about wet her pants. She thought no AF, no maintenance fee cards were urban legend at Applied Bank. Lol.

If you have a CSP, call that number for all your CSR needs for any personal account.

US rep, answers on first ring.

Dillard's. I think I was supposed to close this last year and I forgot. I only used it one time a year and a half ago. Maybe they will save me the trouble.

Yeah, I was gonna off my Dillard's too but it's still around. Never use it and no hope of CLI post Wells Fargo takeover. I did kill my Wells Fargo lame rewards card and felt great doing it.

No CSP...yet. I think that's the next target if I can wait several months til the new year.

Anyone going to close Citi Prestige now that they are doing away with Admirals Club access next year? I think the other perks like 4th night free make the card still a keeper, but that was one of the best perks nerfed on a $450 AF card.

It's also losing 2x dining.

4th night free is worthless for us. We would rather keep moving and see more places...

They need to keep it, otherwise it's a turd. I still would value the TY Premier over the Prestige with the loss of Admirals Club access.

The 4th night bonus is huge if one can benefit from it at least a couple times a year. But that still baffles me about the dining cut. Unless they plan on cutting the Premier in the future as well. Prestige definitely isn't on the potential sign up list for me anymore.

Didn't close but PCd Disney Premier to no AF Disney rewards and moved majority of the CL to Ritz.

Moved majority of my AARP CL to Ritz.

Thinking about PCing Spark to no-AF Spark Select if they don't waive AF.

Thinking about PCing Amex BCP to BCE and moving CL. Or I might move CL then close it to free up revolver opportunity.

I just got hit with the $75 AF. No retention offers. I just received the EDP card which I'll use more now.

I'd like to ditch my old Amex Clear (how nostalgic is that?). I doubt they'll PC but might be worth a shot. Trying to keep all of my 2001 D* cards open...

As mentioned in another thread, no dice on PC for the Clear. Absolutely zero options I guess it will become a CLI 'sockdrawer' card to build up the other limits via transfer.
