Well, at an approx value of 1.33cpp (7,500 Avios for $100) and if there was zero way of just buying the ticket cheaper than that would be a good deal....ASSUMING the award is even available.

Also, BA Award tickets typically include priority boarding/tsa line.

I have not, but I have rarely put non-bonus category spending on my MR cards.

 

355K were from 4 signup bonuses.

At least. All I know is the I had no immediate use for them and I still have plenty of MR points.

 

I've seen reports as high as 1.4 cents FYI but this is what I was able to get. I'm happy with the cash.

It is getting harder. I average 0.55 on gebits with bonus and 1.5+ for non-bonus, mostly mall + WM. Offset that with some cashback routes in order average at 0.3-0.4. I really miss AGC.

I was able to burn up 80K with directs to Maui at 3cpp (Direct to Kona is practically non existent for SAAver) here recently but it's a serious beetch finding return flights. Even HNL-DFW is coming up nil. Edited December 7, 2016 by Zobelle

You can get 1.4 but from a broker that is a good price. With the new Amex card benefits hopefully that price will be going up.
