I think it's going to be 77 here in central NC tomorrow. What in the world!

Yes , I think so, I'm in Greensboro . Hi neighbor  !

Edited to add that I looked at the weather, we are also due to have thunderstorms on Friday .... What the heck?!

Merry Christmas!

Yes, the ground is brown right now....in the twin city area Minnesnowless. On Lake Minnetonka...I can't even play because the "ice" is not safe. It was 50 just last week. Sad.

I'd like a white Christmas , but it is not happening this year. 😕

Depressing....

This will be the first time since '77 that we will see a full moon on Christmas... Next occurrence will take place in 2034.

Not that I will get to see it with all the rain predicted.

I have to go finish some shopping out in the humid and foggy pouring rain.... It could have been snow if the temperature was cold 😕. I think I read that one inch of rain is equivalent to three inches of snow. My rain gauge collected four inches in the last twenty four hours....

Grumble grumble

63 right now in Indianapolis. ...deer hunting will be fun tomorrow

Have fun! The deer hang out in my yard at night , eating the cat food I put out for a stray that wandered up. They're not scared anymore , when I open the door they just stare at me.

It is 65 here , and it is pouring down rain. It has been raining so much here since August . My yard never completely dries out when it's not raining( Which is maybe three days a week , if we are lucky) . Right now , half of my back yard looks like a swamp.

I live in Virginia and it's supposed to be in the 70's I think. I'll be spending Christmas in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN where we'll have similar temperatures.... It's pretty wild, isn't it?

I'm not complaining about the immediate effects, but I do worry about what the future holds beyond my lifetime.

Merry Christmas y'all!

It is very wild , on the other hand it is very scary, and I too wonder what the future holds. I wouldn't be complaining so much if the warm temperatures weren't accompanied by rain/thunderstorms . It would be nice to actually get and enjoy the weather , but I'm stuck inside just as I would if it were freezing cold or snowing. I used to say I wanted to live in Florida and go to the beach on Christmas Day , it seems I got my wish as far as temperature...

I'm with you there! It's been below freezing a few times and then in the 60's and really dreary, and I think that's what's made me sick this week.
