I haven't seen it listed here before.

AMEX will waive AF's for everyone on active duty, even the Army.

So start churning the AMEX cards that present the best signup offers.

Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, and Citibank. also waive AF's for active duty.

Which citibank products waive annual fee?

Also, the MasterCard Luxury Card Gold (by Barclays) waived the AF, and gives you a 0% APR while you are active duty.

It's got quite a nice list of benefits.

nice

"2% Value for Cash Back Statement Credit Redemptions"

what the heck is that supposed to mean? is it a straight 2% cash back or are the points convereted?

You earn 1 point per dollar with all luxury cards.

The value of the points will very based on the type of card you have.

The highest card (gold) is worth 2cpp.

So in essence 2% cashback statement credit.

Is it possible to get annual fees waived even if one applies card after going active? Also, how about if I apply for both Black and Gold card, because it never hurts to have two good limit cards for 0% APR regardless of if they have enough benefits??

Yes. Most lenders will waive annual fees.

Yes, these aren't SCRA benefits. Rather they are goodwill gestures from the banks.

There's no need to have two Barclays cards especially when one isnt even a 2% card.
