The Home Depot card doesn't count towards anything with Citi, correct? I.E. time open, CL, all that crap...

I have no idea about Home Depot, sorry.

I've been trying here and there and alway had the "too many new accounts" excuse. Now it appears they are saying I've reached their exposure limit and they won't issue any CLI's without a new copy of the report. FWIW, it's been probably 3 or 4 years since I had a HP with Citi.

I currently have a $20k Double Cash, $10k Citi Forward and $2.5k Thank You Premiere.

Wow! I guess sooner or later it happens to everybody, but it sure seems like too soon in this case. Could it be income?

I'm about to close mine , still stuck at the $500 starting limit from almost 1 year ago

There's got to be a reason. It seems that Citi is the only real major issuer you have. Maybe they don't like being the first.

Other cards with bigger rewards

Clean reports? From my experience Citi has always tried to be towards the front of the pack.

Just reviewed your signature. Card doesn't have that much time on it and that could be a factor. With no AF you should at least allow it to age a bit.

I agree with PotO that there has to be another reason. You do have a couple bigger players in the portfolio but they don't like something...and I'm sure time will only help.

So card is just under a year old?

I'm guessing not clean at all. There's a reason why when CapOne or Citi only approves somebody with a $500 SL.

There's some decent limits there but I agree. Personally, I'd leave it open as Citi will grow with you, shane especially as things clean up.

No, as the income has gone up. i think they just haven't had a new copy of the report in a long time.

They don't soft you every couple of months? They must be doing periodic account reviews, no?

My reports are 100% clean

Shane, you opened 9 accts between 5/2015 and 10/2015. Have you opened more accts since 10/2015, and if so, how many? Prior to that you had a Kays and secured Cap 1, correct?

UT and FICOs?

You know the drill.

ETA - You just paid off a car loan? You also have 2 personal loans. When did you acquire these? What is a Quad?

Car loan not reported as paid off yet, doesn't update till the 1st

Thank you, for responding.

So far, I've located a SamsClub MC and Ebates CC, not in your siggy. A few HP CLI requests. A Cabela's CL reduction, $2k -> $500.

The personal loans?

IME... Citi doesn't like what you're doing.

God, I love it when the cavalry shows up! :)

Why do people come here to cry conveniently omitting all the salient details?

Shane! You just changed your siggy... lol

Let's see (I didn't memorize it)... The Cap One secured and Cabela's, is gone. You added a Huntington Voice and Marvel CC You forgot to add the SamsClub and Ebates CC :D

I remember when you only had 3 or 4 cards, not so long ago. I hate to see people go app crazy... sometimes, it doesn't end well, or they get stuck in that hellish place.

Poppa can you hear me?

He did change it.

What's his AAOA? FICO?

AAOA -6 months

FICOs, right at 700, maybe?

Tons of new accounts, very, very few from prime issuers.

I'm surprised Citi doesn't just kneecap him.
