Greetings Everyone,

I finally joined NFCU today. I am not sure what CR they have pulled (Any insight will be helpful). I want to know if I should apply for a CC with NFCU since their UW criteria is somewhat liberal than other CU. I thought CU usually use same HP for 90 days if a subsequent credit product application is submitted. However, CSR told me that it is not the case for CC with NFCU andthey wi be doing another HP.

My current stats are;

EQ 640 TU 665 EX 642

INQ 7 12 6

Revolving balance is 65%

No lates, derogatory or CO listed.

AAOA 8 YEARS

Most of the CC opened in 03/15

Do I stand a chance getting approved for a CC? I really would like to get a credit product from NFCU. Any insight will be much appreciated.

When in doubt, go with a no-annual fee cash rewards card. Once you do your homework on travel rewards, then decide which path is best.

One last question; I travel a lot for military work and I saw Sig carries better rewards for that segment. Do I have a shot for Flagship Sig or I should just go for Cash Rewards?

Sorry my computer was not working last night and I could not complete an application. I am now finishing up and wanted to know, how much should I ask for CLOC based upon my stats?

Thank you, finished it. CC went for review, CLOC says a decision is usually made in an hour. Finger crossed now, I am nervous as hell.

Verdict is in on CLOC; A counter offer of 5k is offered with the condition to provide following,

1-Two most recent pay stubs,

2- Copy of most recent federal income tax return,

3- A copy of non-Navy bank statement.

How do I must proceed no? Is it a good start with CLOC 5K.

IMO you should do it. This will grow to $15K quickly.

I am part Military Interpreter, part tipped employee. Last year my income was 40k but this year it is going to be 54k. How can I document this increase? Are they going to cut the limit down if I did not make 54 last year? I think my question is how strict they are in valuation of documents.
