On the check, it says there is a 15K limit but I've read somewhere that if you send the check to yourself, there is a 5K limit. Does anyone know if this is true?

Has anyone sent a 0% BT Chase Sapphier check for 15K to yourself? Any problems?

Thanks!!

Did you read the paperwork it came with? You could also do online customer service if you don't want to call-I've banked with them for years and their CS is super nice and quick to respond.

Whoops sorry missed your post. Yup, paperwork has no such 5K restriciton. Only 15K limit. I guess that is more confirmation.

I had chase years ago and as long as it was under 10k it was good. I never tried over 10 k because I didnt want to take any chances with any holdups or delays or second signitures or whatever.. but that was years ago.
