my daughter is 17 and her dad is retired Army will she qualify to join NFCU and if she does what proof will she need to join? Thanks

Very good idea to have your daughter join NFCU her dad doesn't have to be a member for her to join but its advisable for him to join first. And their is a $50.00 promo going on this month.

Update, my ex wouldn't join so called NFCU and they said the easiest way is to get her dependent card and it's done. I will be her joint since minor and she double checked on that. Will probably go ahead and get my son an account too

once your daughter turns 18 she can sponsor you to join. :good:

We joined yesterday. I got my two kids their military dependent ID. We went to the branch and since my kids were minors I was joint because their dad wouldn't do it. The lady asked if I want my own account too and I said yes, if I could. So all three of us have a checking and savings account. Thanks
